Trained in Silicon Valley with experience across the corporate life cycle.
Daniel has taken the intentional approach of moving backward in the corporate life cycle from public company (Intuit), to unicorn scale-up (VTS), to co-founding (Klasma Labs). His approach has enabled him to understand the nuances of Product at each stage of the corporate life cycle and then apply his learnings directly with the power of hindsight.
“I very frequently get the question: ‘What’s going to change in the next 10 years?’ And this is a very interesting question; it’s a very common one. I almost never get the question: ‘What’s not going to change in the next 10 years?’ And I submit to you that that second question is actually the more important of the two — because you can build a business strategy around the things that are stable in time.”
— Jeff Bezos
Product Strategy
Customer Oriented Product Strategy aims to: align product decisions with long-term business success, ensure mission-driven customer focus, and create testable hypotheses that are actionable by individual scrum teams.
Ideal State Design Sprints
Initially trained through the Intuit Innovation Catalyst program, Daniel honed the art of a productive design sprint through extensive trial and error across numerous product initiatives. Daniel has led Ideal State design sprints with +30 stakeholders, both in-person and fully remote, resulting in global marketing campaigns and products generating over $13m in ARR.
Sprint Rituals
As a PM Lead, Daniel has managed teams of up to 25 engineers and two designers at a time, as well as led 100’s of customer interviews. A well oiled team surfaces problems early and addresses them before they explode, communicates effectively both internally and externally, delivers according to plan, and knows the ins and outs of their customer. Organize your teams to execute flawlessly.
